There are key changes coming to BeWell for the 2026 plan year. Following are steps you need to take and the changes that affect you the most if you buy your health insurance through the New Mexico Health Insurance Marketplace
These Are Important Steps You Need to Take
#1 Claim Your New 2026 BeWell Account
If you were previously enrolled, BeWell New Mexico has set up a new account for you—just log in and verify your details! If you are new to the marketplace, you will need to create a new account before enrolling
Returning users were sent an access code through regular mail. You can use that or your Social Security Number. Click here https://enroll.bewellnm.com/hix/accessCode then Register with Access Code …or … your Social Security Number to claim your 2026 BeWell Account.
#2 Make Your Payment Directly to the Insurance Carrier
You will no longer make your healthcare insurance payment or your dental insurance payment through BeWell. You will go directly to the insurance carrier to pay your premium and / or set-up auto pay.

#3 Make Your Binder Payment
You must pay the “binder payment” (the first month’s premium) directly to your health insurance carrier for your policy to become effective. If you don’t make this payment, your coverage will be canceled and you will have to re-enroll, potentially waiting until the next open enrollment period.
