The SHRM-SCP stands for Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional.

It is the HR certification that HR professionals with more than seven years of experience typically take. Still, you can take it sooner if you have an HR-related bachelor’s or master’s degree.

There is also a more junior certification the SHRM-CP, the Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional.
